What to Do in New York
Tied for first place on popular cities to visit in the United States is New York. There is a reason you will find people in all four corners of the world wearing I heart New York t-shirts. The city is a ball of energy and vibrating on electric. Some describe a visit to the city like a hurtle through space. The city is fast, loud and alive 24 hours a day.
A morning stroll in Central Park, one of the most beautiful urban parks in the world followed by lunch in Little Italy and then get ready for an evening on Broadway – a simple New York day one might say. This multicultural city boasts citizens from around the globe who have carved out unique enclaves that have you stepping into unique worlds like Chinatown, Little Manilla, Koreatown and more.
Is Houston Worth Visiting?
Over to Houston, this is the home of space buffs or dreamers if you will. Houston is the home of NASA and a visit to the city means a visit to the headquarters is a must. Here you can experience flight simulation, weightlessness and meet current and future astronauts After the space adventures are complete, the city has a wealth of cultural assets to visit including the Museum of Natural Science, The Museum of Natural History and the Museum of Fine Arts.
What to do in Hawaii
And don’t forget about one of the country’s not-so-hidden treasures, Hawaii. Hawaii is the American tropical getaway. The state is made up of a series of islands with Oahu Island being the most popular. Here you can enjoy fruity cocktails on the beach or go scuba diving and check out some beautiful coral reefs.
Is New Orleans Worth a Visit?
Finally over to one of the US’s most precious gems, New Orleans. The city is a delicious mix of old south flavor, fine French glamor with a pinch of mysticism. The city is known for its outrageous Mardi Gras celebrations for which hotels and flights are booked months in advance. The party lasts for days and the crowds swell to the millions. However this annual street party is just a tiny representation of what the city has to offer year round. It is home to lovely jazz bars and cosy cafes serving up Creole creations that you just can’t find anywhere else. And no visit to New Orleans could be complete without a visit to the swamps for a little alligator-spotting and perhaps a little bayou barbeque.
What to Do in the US Round Up
The US is one of the largest countries in the world and that also means the climate across the country changes quite dramatically. If you want to experience the traditional four seasons, the central US is where you will find warm summers and cold, snowy winters.
However if it a hot beach vacation you desire than the south and western parts of the country are more welcoming with hot summers and warm winters. The US has it all and more, now the only difficult part is figuring out how to squeeze it all in during one vacation.
So we kind of failed at giving you the number one destination, however we gave you the best places to go when you visit the US. Make a couple of trips 🙂 then you can decide which one is the best for you and your lifestyle.
