Head to Essex for an idyllic weekend of lovely little cottages and walks along the riverside. Many travelers to the country also make it a priority to head out to Wiltshire, which is the location of Stonehenge, a UNESCO world heritage site. This mysterious circle of standing stones have been dated to 3100 B.C. The country’s weather may play a factor in your visit.

Is England Woth A Visit?

The answer is absolutely YES. The winter’s can be very cold and wind gusts making them colder, the coldest period is December through February, after which the weather starts warming up. However, the rainy stories you’ve heard about England are all true, so pack those galoshes regardless of when you decide to go.
